November 21, 2006 Board Meeting Agenda Item #29 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #7049 TO PROVIDE FIELD MARKING PAINT Description Bids to provide 'Field Marking Paint' were received from six vendors on October 25, 2006.  The bid of Venice Paint and Wallpaper was the best low bid meeting the advertised specifications based on a scenario.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bid of Venice Paint and Wallpaper, to provide 'Field Marking Paint' in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00, be approved for award and purchase.
